Software Developer	The developer produces software with a great deal of freedom with regard to the actual method employed to achieve the company’s vision. The role requires the ability to be the definitive technical resource for the company and the products and the accuracy of the work is critical to the success of the programs and the business. Essential Delphi 7 – in depth, main development language Visual Basic/VBA – maintenance/bug fixing only Inno Setup (or similar) – production of new installation routines and maintenance of existing In-depth knowledge of all versions of Windows – up to Vista essential. Familiarity with Windows networking Customer third-line support skills (this is NOT a support role but some support is occasionally required) Ability to understand and create/fix HTML Prior experience of developing software for end-user markets and software on general public sale Highly desirable VMWare and use/management of virtual machines Good knowledge of Windows Media Player and related technologies such as codecs JVCS/Free VCS – good knowledge Good familiarity with restricted Windows accounts and related permissions Logmein Rescue remote support experience Install Builder, Install Shield experience (for maintenance) We are a small team producing our own very successful range of software products from initial sketched informal design through all stages to finished end-sale CD/DVDs.  The ability to fit in to our friendly and approachable environment is as important as technical skill.
