PiC - Entertain, inform and generate enquiries

The non-clinical time your patients spend in your practice waiting for their appointment can be put to good use. PiC is designed to occupy them while they wait, to provide them with useful information about your practice, oral health information etc., but also to let them know about the additional services you have to offer. This may be cosmetic treatments like whitening, or complimentary services like beauty or chiropody.

PiC is a computer-based program that you can switch on in the morning and leave it running all day. But because it’s a computer program, you decide which messages run when and you can also create your own personalised messages in minutes. The program is designed to run silently so it doesn’t irritate staff and patients.

PiC has 280 professionally illustrated and animated marketing messages from which you can choose. That’s over an hour of professionally produced information which can be set to run in your waiting room. In addition you can also produce your own slides within PiC using our program wizard following the step by step instructions. You don’t have to learn additional computer software to unleash your creativity!

The Scheduler

The Scheduler is easy to use and gives you flexibility. It enables you to run any sequence file of your choice in hourly daytime slots on any day of the week. Once you have chosen your file sequences and enabled the scheduler, your sequences will run as programmed when you activate PiC. The scheduler will even run a sequence throughout the night if you wish to display marketing material (or emergency procedures) through the practice shop front window.

Interactive Mode

You can sit and watch your presentation to the customer and “tweak” it interactively. The presentation of each slide can be altered individually while it is being viewed, full screen. The control panel enables you to select/or deselect a slide from the sequence, choose the method of presentation, the length of time it stays on the screen and how many times it appears on screen in the sequence.

The Sound System

Our sound system enables you to create and run background music which can play in a loop behind the image sequence. You can specify as many music tracks as you like and these will play continuously. If a movie/video has a particular sound file associated with it this will interrupt the music system, play the 'narration' and then return to the music system afterwards

Running PiC

At last, what you’ve been waiting for, PiC can now be run as a screen saver, so if you use the computer for other functions, PiC can be set to ‘kick-in’ after a definable period of keyboard inactivity. This means you could use PiC in the surgery or reception area also to entertain and inform your patients wherever they happen to be in the practice. And remember, PiC can also control your music files so could be used to ‘audibly’ entertain your clients too!
